Beginning on January 7th, the #GuessWho4TheHall Campaign was launched to help induct The Guess Who into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (RRHoF)!
The petition is nearing 25,000 signatures on change.org, with fans signing from over 34 different countries and numerous celebrity collaborators.
“Our organizing committee is overwhelmed by the support we have received in the first week of the campaign,” says Jenny Motkaluk, Executive Director of GuessWho4theHall. “Fans all over the world are rallying to honour a band that left such a lasting legacy on the music industry. The Guess Who’s music was truly a soundtrack of an entire generation.”
The Canada’s Walk of Fame, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, MB Film and Music, Canadian Music Centre, Economic Development Winnipeg, Little Bones Wings, Manitoba Music Museum and Manitoba Music have also partnered with the GuessWho4theHall campaign to help spread the word.
