An hour of your time save lives… by donating blood you are helping patients undergoing surgeries, receiving cancer treatments and those that are receiving routine treatments for various diseases and disorders.
Currently, every donation appointment needs to be filled. Without the ongoing dedication of blood donors, patients in Canada wouldn’t have access to lifesaving care where and when they need it.
There are over 100 open appointments available that need to be filled between now and the end of March.
The Peterborough donor centre remains open throughout the pandemic, even during lockdowns. Safety is our highest priority. Enhanced wellness measures are in effect throughout all our donor centres to ensure the wellbeing of donors and our teams is safeguarded.
Donating blood is a positive way to cope with the pandemic and can help address feelings of helplessness you may have in these challenging times.
