In 1950 the Lioness Club of Peterborough was formed and have enjoyed 71 years of service in our community of Peterborough. We are about to begin a new chapter in our Service, and we are excited to tell you about it.
On July 1, 2021, the Lioness Club of Peterborough will become the Swans Club of Peterborough. As a Swans Club, we will continue as a Service Club and remain dedicated to serving our community. Funds raised from the public go back into helping the community and our service projects allow us to help throughout our community where we can, by way of physical or in-kind donations.
The Swans Club of Peterborough is part of Swans Ontario, the Provincial Program which provides the framework to hold together the various Swans Clubs within the Province of Ontario. Our goal is to provide community service opportunities for individuals and to unite its members in friendship, fellowship, and mutual understanding. We look forward to seeing you out in the community or at one our fundraisers or service projects.
