The Support Committee of the 2817 Royal Canadian Army Cadets help support the Army Cadets with fundraising initiatives to help offset the cost of training supplies and equipment not covered in the Cadet operational budget; supporting extra-curricular activities, additional training opportunities and the Lindsay 2817 Pipes and Drum Band.

We are a non-profit organization, which is only partially funded by the Department of National Defence (DND). Fundraising is necessary for functions, programs and activities that are non-DND funded, such as sports competitions.
The Army Cadet program is free to all youth ages 12-19 years of age. There are no registrations fees, no training fees and no fees for uniforms.
The goal of the Cadet program is to instill in our Canadian youth the values of leadership, physical fitness, teamwork, confidence and civic duty.
