Dave Grohl and daughters perform Foo Fighters, cover Adele

Dave Grohl and his 12-year-old daughter Violet performed an incredible acoustic cover of Adele’s “When We Were Young” during a benefit concert in Oakland, California Saturday.

It may not have been the rocker’s top song choice, but I love that he jammed out with his daughter anyways. And the kid has talent! The performance was part of the Notes and Words benefit concert, raising money for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

But it doesn’t end there! After the Adele cover, Dave Grohl’s younger daughter Harper came out to play drums and Violet sang backup while Dave played “The Sky Is a Neighborhood.”

They wrapped that up with Violet on lead vocals and Harper on drums as the family covered Queen’s “We Will Rock You.”  It was a bit of a flashback to this moment- when Dave invited his daughter up on stage in Iceland to perform with the band when she was first learning to play the drums.
