Prince Harry gave his newest nephew Prince Louis a first edition Winnie-the-Pooh book worth $14,000 as a Christening present
One of Harry’s happiest childhood memories was being read a bedtime story by his mother. She loved all the old classics and Harry had the brilliant idea of starting a little library of first editions for Louis.
The Duke of Sussex went with one of his personal favourites and bought a 1926 Winnie-the-Pooh first printing, which is one of 30,000 printed. He originally wanted to get Lewis Carroll’s Through The Looking Glass, which was on sale for $31,000, but decided Winnie-The-Pooh would be more suitable for an infant.
