Great Big Sea frontman Alan Doyle put on a show in-front of a massive crowd at Peterborough Musicfest on Wednesday (Aug. 8).
The threat of rain didn’t stop throngs of fans from coming out to the show.
This was Doyle’s first Peterborough Musicfest concert in five years.
He played some of his own hits and classics from Great Big Sea including Ordinary Day and Run, Runaway.
Doyle will return to the area with his #ComeOutWithMe Tour with special guest Whitney Rose in Belleville on Nov. 8.
Against the Wind: Bob Seger Tribute will play Musicfest on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Canadian country artist Terri Clark will play the festival on Aug. 15.
