Movie review: Jonas Brothers Chasing Happiness

If you’re a fan of the Jonas Brothers this is something you should watch.

Through this doc you get to see everything from start to finish. If you’re just a casual fan, you’ll learn some interesting things about the early days before the band. Things that sparked their interest in becoming a band.  Things about their home life and how much the family was banking on the boys success.

They have a whole slew of people coming in for interviews from their old bodyguard Big Joe to their first bass player. You get walked through the moment Nick was diagnosed with diabetes and when their first label dropped them.

There is a lot of jumping back and forth. There’s more information about the past than there is about the future. In one of the scenes from the present, the boys are going around asking and answering each other questions, getting everything out in the open. I’d have liked to have seen more of that.  However, it is really interesting to get a play by play of the things that lead Nick to initiate the band break up.

Overall I’d give this movie a 3.5 out of 5. If you’re a fan you are going to enjoy all the information and tidbits you get about the band. I definitely learned a lot of things I didn’t know.
