Petes Equipment Manager Flexing Sewing Skills

This is awesome!

The Peterborough Petes’ season unfortunately came to an early end, as the OHL tries to help flatten the curve during this pandemic. But certain members of the organization are still working – including the Petes’ equipment manager Brian Miller.

The Petes posted a photos to twitter this week, showing some (appropriately) maroon and white masks, complete with skate laces, that Brian is making for Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

PRHC has asked the community to sew and donate masks as we continue to see a worldwide shortage of personal protective equipment. These hand-sewn masks would be given to patients, approved visitors, and others in the hospital community, allowing health care workers access to the certified PPE.

Here’s more info on the hospital’s request.
