How it works!
Families pick the participating restaurant of their choice.
We strongly suggest that they make a reservation.
Participating restaurants contribute minimum of 15% of the gross revenue (not including taxes) to PARN
Each restaurant will have A Taste For Life PARN Volunteer Host to answer questions about the charity
Everyone who dines out as a part of PARN’s 2023 A Taste for Life event on April 19 will be entered into a draw for a $150 gift certificate for the A Taste for Life restaurant(s) of their choice.

The Peterborough AIDS Resource Network works to prevent the transmission of HIV and other blood-borne infections by providing education, information and resources to groups at risk and the general public in the counties of Peterborough, Northumberland, Haliburton and City of Kawartha Lakes.
We provide compassionate and confidential support to people who are living with and affected by HIV and/or AIDS in the City of Peterborough and the four counties.
PARN provides harm reduction supplies to people who use injection and inhalation drugs in order to reduce the risk of HIV transmission and other blood-borne infections.
Our Rainbow Youth Program works to create safer spaces and promote inclusive services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, 2-spirit, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in the 4 Counties.
The Women & HIV\AIDS Initiative is a long-term strategy funded by the Ontario AIDS Bureau to strengthen the capacity of communities to support women who live with or are affected by HIV and/or AIDS.
PARN is a United Way member agency community based agency providing support and health promotion for people living with or affected by HIV and/or AIDS. PARN has been providing education for people at risk for HIV and awareness of AIDS issues to the broader community since 1990.

A 2016 study found that money spent on community-based HIV prevention translates into treatment savings. For every $1 spent on community-based HIV prevention programs in Ontario Canada saves $5 in treatment costs.
