They’re back … by popular demand! ZED, Canada’s Foremost Tribute to the music of LED ZEPPELIN, is returning to the Academy Theatre on Sat. Aug. 4th. This all Canadian multi-talented five-member band hails from London, ON, that, like Lindsay, is a ‘hot bed’ for quality musicians and entertainment. Opening for ZED are local musicians Larry Shepherd and Gerald Van Halteren with their acoustic tribute to the Legendary Neil Young. Leading ZED in their second concert at the Academy is the incomparable Shaun Sanders, performing as Robert Plant. Backing, note for note, are Graham Goss (Keyboards/Acoustic Guitar), Ryan Spong (Bass Guitar/Mandolin), Rob MacEachern (Drums/Hammer of the Gods) and Dwayne Errington (Guitar/Theremin). ZED’s song list includes Heartbreaker, Kashmir, Fool in the Rain, Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love and many more.
