Coat Donations – Cameron House

Teaming up with Cameron House, Cahill’s is encouraging the community to drop off their gently-used winter coats at their store on Hunter Street in Peterborough. All of the donated coats will be on display in Cahill’s store window. To help “fill the window” Cahill’s is throwing in an extra incentive.

Throughout November, bring in a gently-used winter coat for donation and get a lucky draw ballot for a chance to win a $250.00 in-store credit. The draw will be held on November 30th. No purchase required to receive a ballot.

Rob Cahill commented, “as we head into the winter months, we wanted to draw attention to the fact that many in our community still lack a winter coat to stay warm. We hope to fill the window to show the generous spirit of Peterborough.”

“So many of our clients do not have appropriate winter clothing,” says Nicole Lacey, Program Supervisor at Cameron House. “With the colder weather almost here, we worry about our clients staying warm and safe. These types of donations definitely make a difference!”

Donated coats will be cleaned by Grainger’s Cleaners and donated to Cameron House in Peterborough.
