The Heart of Hastings Hospice – Live Butterfly Release and Celebration of Life
Event Details: A community celebration and memorial of the lives of loved ones with the release of live monarch butterflies in Marmora Memorial Park accompanied by musical performances, BBQ and activities for children. All proceeds will be donated to The Heart of Hastings Hospice, a non-profit organization which aims to provide compassionate end-of-life care for those with terminal illnesses through in-home palliative care, their residential hospice house in Madoc, medical equipment lending, and caregiver and bereavement support. The hospice relies purely on community donations and support to offer all their services free of charge to the areas it serves, including Centre Hastings, Madoc, Stirling-Rawdon, Tweed, Marmora and Lake, Tudor and Cashel and surrounding areas.
