Just in time for Christmas, the WBN (Women’s Business Network) is running an online fundraising auction on Nonprofit Bidding with many fabulous experiences up for auction as well as unique items that are perfect for your Christmas or Holiday shopping list. Items include: theatre tickets, Petes tickets, catering at your home, gift baskets and furniture and more.

The WBN is supporting the YWCA Peterborough Haliburton’s programs and services supporting women experiencing gender-based violence. Our $15,000.00 goal will go a long way to help women and children in our community who are escaping abuse and violence.

WBN’s online auction is their annual major fundraising event and the proceeds go back into supporting the programming at The YWCA Peterborough-Haliburton.
Over the years the women’s business network of Peterborough collectively has raised over $340,000 in support of this cause. Last year alone, donor support made it possible for 100% of the women who contacted the YWCA to receive immediate support, resources and safety.
