Every year, Ted Dawes, mostly known for “Ted On The Roof” in Peterborough and surrounding area, goes upon the roof of Morello’s Independent Grocers on Lansdowne Street east in Peterborough to bring awareness to Leukemia and Lymphoma research and raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
This fundraiser has been a Victoria Day long weekend tradition for 20 years and this initiative has raised over $400,000.
During this event, there is an auction and raffle for prizes with proceeds going to finding a cure for this terrible disease that affects Canadians, many of them children.
Plan to join us at Morello’s this coming Victoria Day Weekend and support a great cause.
Join Ted and his team this Sunday (April 21st) and Monday (April 22nd) at Boston Pizza (Lansdowne St. location) from 5p.m. to 8p.m. for “Celebrity Servers.” Boston Pizza will be donating 10% of sales to Ted On The Roof.
