101.5 The Wolf, Global Peterborough, 100.5 Fresh Radio and Kawartha Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat are teaming up for Peterborough’s 4th annual Pink Caps For Cancer fundraising campaign in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The public can visit the Kawartha Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat dealership (1515 Lansdowne Street West) to purchase sets of pink caps for their vehicle tires – with proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society and breast cancer research.
“We are so excited to help spread the word about Kawartha Chrysler’s Pink Caps fundraiser in support of breast cancer research,” said Arlene Godby, Community Fundraising Specialist for the Canadian Cancer Society, Peterborough Community Office. “Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Canadian women and 1 in 8 will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. With the help of fundraisers like Pink Caps, the Canadian Cancer Society will be able to fund more research and save more lives.”
Caps can be purchased from the dealership for $2 per set. In addition to supporting breast cancer research, each set of caps comes with a $5 off coupon towards the purchase of an oil change. The campaign will continue until December 1.
