4th Annual Peterborough Rucksack March for Remembrance

The 2025 Peterborough Event will take place on Saturday October 25. The start location will be Confederation Square (across from City Hall and in front of our local Armories) with parking at 201 McDonnel, Peterborough, ON. Registration will open at 0815hrs, with the Ruckmarch starting at 0900hrs.

New for this year! This year’s route will start from Confederation Square, downtown Peterborough, and take participants on a full 22km tour of Peterborough, out to beautiful Trent University, and finally ending up at Nichols Oval Park, Peterborough.

The Rucksack March for Remembrance was established to bring people from the community together with one mission in mind. This mission is to raise awareness and funding for the many Canadian militaries and first responder families who are in the midst of their own service-related battles.

Every year, we lose too many dedicated soldiers, officers, firefighters and paramedics to illness, injury and suicide. The struggle continues to impact families and communities nationwide, and we wanted to do our part to serve those who need our help the most.

As veterans and first responders, we created an event that would bring people from all walks of life together in support of Wounded Warriors Canada.

We will be hosting our annual event with the goal of raising $100,000 which will support veteran and first responder families across the country. All donations go directly to the Wounded Warriors Canada foundation, and we appreciate any and all support.
