Notice regarding the Peterborough Sr Lakers Games at the Evinrude Centre

Peterborough, ON – Starting on Thursday June 6th the Peterborough Century 21 Lakers will play all home games at the Evinrude Centre for the remainder of the 2019 season. In anticipation of a very busy venue the City would like to provide the following information for all ticket holders and visitors on game nights:

GameTime and Entry:

Doors are scheduled to open to both the Freedom Mobile Pad and Evinrude Banquet Hall at 7 p.m. with all game times beginning at 8 p.m. General facility access will be available via the main Arena Entrance and additional access areas will include:

  • Freedom Mobile Pad: Upper Viewing Area for all Ticket Holders
  • Evinrude Banquet Hall: Via entrance from Lower Level Lobby for all Ticket Holders (Exterior Access not permitted for Hall entry)

All tickets will be for assigned seating and standing in the Freedom Mobile Pad. Accessible seating and limited mobility seats are available.

 

Restrictions:

Outside Food and Beverage will not be permitted for those attending the game on the Freedom Mobile Pad or the Evinrude Banquet Hall. Smoking will only be permitted outside the main facility entrance and banquet hall entrance only, at least 9 metres from any entrances. Tickets will also be required for re-entry into both ticketed areas, no exceptions.

Parking and Traffic:

Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead, arrive early, carpool or use Peterborough Transit. Onsite parking is expected to be in high demand. Access to the back parking lot off High Street will not be available, limiting available on site parking to the front lot off Monaghan Rd. We have on-site accessible parking spaces in the main lot, available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a drop-off area at the front of the building off Monaghan Rd.

Alternative parking options near the Evinrude Centre are available at the Peterborough Canoe Museum located off Monaghan Rd and Romaine St, and Lansdowne Place Mall in designated parking area near Lansdowne and High Street intersection. Note: Overflow at the Canoe Museum will not be available for the June 6th game. Please obey all on site and surrounding areas parking restrictions and ensure that your vehicle does not impede other visitors or block routes for emergency response vehicles.

Traffic on Monaghan Rd is expected to be heavier than usual between 6:30 p.m and 8 p.m. Please plan ahead and allow plenty of time to get to the venue and find parking. There will be no charge for parking at the Evinrude Centre or either overflow parking locations

Tickets:

Tickets will go on sale to the public on the Monday of the week of each game online at www.tickets.memorialcentre.ca , over the phone at 705-743-3561 and in person at the Baker Tilly Box Office at the PMC. There will be a limit of 4 tickets per person per game, and there are no reserved seats for season ticket holders. Box office hours are 9:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

All tickets must be printed and presented to door staff to gain entry and re-entry into the Freedom Mobile Pad and Evinrude Banquet Hall. For those fans that choose to have their tickets held at the Baker Tilly Box office “Will Call”, please bring the order confirmation number or photo ID to pick up tickets. On game days, the “Will Call” will be open until 5pm at the PMC, and starting again at 6pm at the Evinrude Centre for all pre purchased tickets. Only remaining Banquet Hall tickets will be for sale at the Evinrude Centre between 6 and 8pm.

General Facility Access

All members of the general public attending the facility for permitted rentals on the Leon’s Peterborough Pad will not require tickets or authorized access into the facility. Same traffic reminders and parking restrictions will apply.
