The ‘Art in the Library Committee’ of the Otonabee-South Monaghan Libraries are hosting a ‘Family Fun Day of Art’ at the Gayle Nelson Library in Keene.
Are there any budding artists in your family? Join the Gayle Nelson Library on County Rd. #2 in the Village of Keene on Saturday May 24 for a Family Fun Day of Art. There will be a Show & Tell with local artist Marie Adamcryck who will be unveiling her wood-carved marionette and the plans that she has for it. Marie will be followed by Lucy Manley, an accomplished landscape painter, who will be demonstrating her approach to painting in oil on a
black-toned canvas. Her demo will run from 2:00 p.m. till near closing at 4:00 p.m.
