Cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are steps away.
Join us on Sunday, June 3 at our 23rd annual Gutsy Walk to walk, jog or run with us towards a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.
Callyn and Kohen, 2018 Gutsy Walk Local Honorary Chairs
Meet Callyn (14) and Kohen (10); brothers both diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Callyn was 8 and Kohen was 6 when diagnosed. Both boys have struggled with steroid dependency and Crohn’s related Arthritis which causes severe hip pains during a flare up. Both are now being successfully treated with a biologic and the awesome Gastroenterology team of Dr Thomas Walters at Sick Kids Hospital In Toronto. Callyn loves animals and hopes to one day work at a zoo. Kohen loves soccer and wants to play professionally some day.
Their Dad also has Crohn’s disease; it can be a challenge having three people with Crohn’s in one family. That is why the Gutsy Walk is so important, so that research and strides towards a cure can continue.
Please come join Callyn and Kohen at this years Gutsy Walk in hopes of walking towards a cure.
Registered Gutsy Walk participants will have the opportunity to:
