Event Details: Peterborough Historical Society public lecture: The Honourable Barry MacDougall will discuss his experience as a justice on the Specific Claims Tribunal. Specific claims were cases in which First Nations claim the Crown failed in its treaty duties, or failed to manage properly First Nations funds or assets. Barry MacDougall is a retired Justice of the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and of the Specific Claims Tribunal.
